Wendy Ang - MyOptimind

Wendy Ang is the President and founder of Optimind Technology Solutions. Her Internet marketing career started in college when she started promoting herself online to get a side stint with an American software development firm.

She is currently working on SEO campaigns, web design and flash animation projects with several clients worldwide. Her local clients include Ayala Land, LBC, Robinsons Land, Sta. Lucia Realty Inc., and Moldex Corporation.

Wendy holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from De La Salle University.

Jay de Jesus - Titik Pilipino

Jay de Jesus is the founder of Titik Pilipino - The Online Resource for Filipino Music. Jay has managed Titik Pilipino to become a multi-awarded website and one of the longest running OPM music websites on the internet.

Titik Pilipino is an online music website established in 1997, which has won several awards including Best Music Website in the 2003 Philippine Web Awards and 2008 Digital Filipino Web Awards. The website current receives a monthly average of 200,000 visitors and 4 million page views worldwide.

As an IT consultant, Jay holds a degree in Computer Science from Ateneo de Manila University. His internet expertise is derived from working for several web-based firms, an Internet Service Provider and managing a web development company. He has been a web developer, programmer and internet consultant for several client websites including Informatics, Institute of Philippine Culture, Royale Homes, Ajinomoto, Pinoy.tv, Musiko.com, Cebu Trade Fairs and ABS-CBN to name a few.

As a music consultant, Jay has 15 years experience with digital music starting as a musical arranger for Samsung, Sony and Precision Audio from 1994 to 1998. He has also been invited to judge various music-related competitions including the Awit Awards since 2006. Jay is also recognized by the Philippine Association of the Recording Industry (PARI) as a resource person for online music.

His hobbies include photography, blogging and songwriting.

Ranulf Goss - SunGame

Ranulf Goss is currently the Technical Director of SunGame Inc., a US-based company specializing in online virtual worlds development and in the process of setting up the Manila operations of SunGame. As a programmer, he specializes in 3D game development, systems programming and database management. His previous work experiences includes being the global database administrator of Trend Micro Inc. and a producer for Matahari Studios Philippines (now known as Kuju Philippines). Also passionate about the game development industry, he has held the IGDA Manila Chapter Chairmanship for five years, and has spearheaded the creation of the Game Developers Association of the Philippines.

Speaker Presentation Guidelines

Speakers in the Social Networking & eBusiness Conference are requested to take note of the following guidelines when preparing their presentation. This guide was prepared in response to the feedback we got last year. We appreciate all speakers cooperation regarding this matter to ensure that our 2009 conference will be most meaningful to participants.

1. Speakers, being experts, are expected to provide a big picture and strategic perspective in relation to their topic. This includes citing:
  • Industry statistics
  • Current players
  • Sharing of experience (case study)
  • Lessons learned
  • What developments can be expected in 2009?
  • How can participants take advantage & use what was presented to them?
2. With the above, company related slides should be no more than 30% of the total slides.

3. All speaker presentation materials should be e-mailed to the organizers on or before April 16, 2009.

4. Speaker profile and photo should be sent to the organizers no later than April 2, 2009.
